Positioning and brand foundations that make your product easy to choose

If people can't tell in five seconds who your product is for and why it's better, a prettier logo won't help. I start from user interviews and competitors to sharpen your positioning, then turn it into messaging and a landing page that carries it. For full visual identity I work with product designers, including my co-founder at Granino.

This is for you if

  • You struggle to explain what makes your product different
  • Your website describes features instead of the value to the customer
  • You're launching and need a landing page that converts from day one
  • You're repositioning an existing product for a new audience

What you get

Positioning statement
Who it's for, the problem, the alternative they use today and why you're better. One page, agreed together.
Messaging
Headline, value points, proof and objections, written in your customers' own words from interviews.
Landing page
Designed and built, fast and SEO-ready, with clear calls to action and analytics.
Brand basics
Type, colour and tone guidelines, with a designer partner when you need a full identity.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Listen

Customer interviews and a look at how competitors talk.

  2. Step 2

    Position

Write and test the positioning and key messages.

  3. Step 3

    Build

Design and ship the landing page.

  4. Step 4

    Test

Measure what converts and refine the message.

Founder, built soloConsumer web app, live and growing

TracklistFinder

Turns any YouTube DJ set into a Spotify playlist in one click.

DJ sets and live mixes on YouTube rarely come with a usable tracklist. Fans end up scrolling comments and searching tracks one by one.

What I did

  • Found the problem in music communities, then shipped a first version in weeks, not months
  • Built LLM parsing that pulls track names out of messy titles, descriptions and comments
  • Designed the Spotify flow so a playlist is one click away
  • Owned growth: technical SEO, content and visibility in AI assistants

Results

  • Over 150% growth in the last 30 days
  • 5,000+ sets uploaded
  • 150+ registered accounts
  • Ranks high on Google and is recommended by AI assistants

Granino

Helps specialty-coffee lovers find beans, cafés and roasters that match their taste.

Specialty coffee is full of choice and jargon. Enthusiasts struggle to find the next bag they will actually enjoy.

What I did

  • Co-founded with my sister, a product designer
  • Ran user interviews with specialty-coffee enthusiasts before writing much code
  • Turned interview insight into a focused feature set and taste model
  • Built the web platform and the mobile app, now close to release

Results

  • Strong early feedback from interviewed users
  • Web platform live; mobile app launching soon
  • Product decisions grounded in real conversations, not assumptions

Common questions

Do you design logos?

Not myself. When a project needs a full visual identity I bring in a product designer I trust and coordinate the work.

Why should an engineer help with positioning?

Because I've had to sell my own products. Positioning decides what gets built, and the landing page is software too.
